1. Introduction

Welcome to PeekChef! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PeekChef mobile application ("App") provided by Eugenio Damm ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using PeekChef, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use PeekChef. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years old. If we discover that a user is under 16, we will terminate their account and delete their personal data.

PeekChef is a mobile application available on iOS and Android platforms that provides recipe suggestions based on ingredients visible in photos of your refrigerator or pantry. The App uses artificial intelligence to analyze images and generate personalized recipe recommendations.

5. Subscription and Payment

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers (such as Stripe, Apple App Store, or Google Play Store). By subscribing, you agree to the payment terms of the applicable payment processor.

5.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription rate.

5.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the platform where you purchased the subscription (App Store or Play Store). Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

5.5 Refunds

Refund policies are governed by the platform where you purchased your subscription (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) or by our payment processor. Generally, subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect your current subscription period but will apply upon renewal unless you cancel.

7.1 Our Rights

The App, including all content, features, functionality, software, designs, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by Eugenio Damm and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You retain ownership of the photos you upload to the App. However, by uploading photos, you grant us a limited license to process and analyze these images solely for the purpose of providing recipe suggestions. Photos are deleted after processing as described in our Privacy Policy.

7.4 Recipe Content

Recipe suggestions generated by the App are provided for your personal use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize recipes on a large scale without proper attribution to original sources where applicable.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Eugenio Damm regarding the use of PeekChef and supersede any prior agreements.
